1. Describe: What is your project? What materials did you use to make it? How long did it take you to make? My project Is a drawing of a snake eye hiding in a bush. I used different shades of colored pencils and it took me one month exactly to finish.
2. Evaluate: What are the good / strong parts of your project? What is done well and why?.The parts done well are the transitions from the different colors and different shades in the leaves and scales.
3. Evaluate: What do you think you could have done better on this project and why? I think i could have spaced it out better so i could put more leaves in the picture to make it seem more lifelike
4. Describe the attributes of your theme / unity: What is the deeper meaning of the project? What are you trying to communicate? What details did you use to reflect
that theme? The unity of the picture is the equal zones of each color how it splits the eye, i was trying to give it an abstract feel with the different colors that arent normal.
5. Describe the important elements (blue-titled posters hanging in the art room) used in your design (at least 2): What are the important elements? Why do you believe those are the most important? Form and Space. I believe they are both equally importnat in order to make the scales, eye, and leaves to stand out and have more 3-D effect
6. Describe the important principles (red-titled posters hanging in the art room) used in your design (at least 2): What are the important principles? Why do you believe those are the most important? Balance and Movement. The equal amount of space and color contribute to the balance while your eyes move back and forth from each color and how it goes to the next color.
7. Metacognate (think about your thinking!!!): What did you learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why? I learned that colored pencils is my best "tool" to art and that i should stay with what is working.
