Reflection
- Describe: What is your project? What materials did you use to make it? How long did it take you to make? My August project was finishing the mural from last year. I used Acrylic Paint. To completely finish the mural took about 3,3 1/2 weeks.
- Evaluate: What are the good / strong parts of your project? What is done well and why? The strong parts I believe is the symbolism each symbol has. The details in each symbol is very good because they look realistic.
- Evaluate: What do you think you could have done better on this project and why? I think that I could have worked more on it out of class because i could have completely finished it.
- Describe the attributes of your theme / unity: What is the deeper meaning of the project? What are you trying to communicate? What details did you use to reflect that theme? tThe unity of the mural would be school spirit and individuality. The seperate symbols describe what everyone can do and school spirit is communicated in the saying "WE ARE LIONS" showing we are together as one.
- Describe the important elements used in your design (at least 2): What are the important elements? Why do you believe those are the most important? Shape and Space. Shape is showing the individual symbols and Space is how they are bunch together in seperate areas like a basketball and wrestling mat together that are both in winter and both in the gym.
- Describe the important principles used in your design (at least 2): What are the important principles? Why do you believe those are
the most important? MMovement and Emphasis. The movement shifted with both the season of the sports; fall, winter, spring and also the area from football field, gym, to soccer and track. Emphasis on the unity of everyone on the saying its big in the middle and "shooting" toward you to show the importance. - Metacognate What did you learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why? I learned that getting stuff done when it needs to be is alot less to worry about than when you have to finish it later. If we would have finished the mural last year i wouldnt have to worry about finishing it now.
