Final Project
Reflection
1. Describe: What is your project? What materials did you use to make it? How long did it take you to make? My project is a mix media painting that has colored penciling, markers, and tagboard that took me a month and a week to completely finished.
2. Evaluate: What are the good / strong parts of your project? What is done well and why? I think the strong parts would be the design and coloring of the star and cards they look very clean and well done.
3. Evaluate: What do you think you could have done better on this project and why? I think the lettering and the background could have done better I rushed it to get it finished so doesnt look as clean as it could be.
4. Describe the attributes of your theme / unity: What is the deeper meaning of the project? What are you trying to communicate? What details did you use to reflect that theme? I just put a literal meaning with the quote talking about the stars and the the hand that your dealt in life.
5. Describe the important elements (blue-titled posters hanging in the art room) used in your design (at least 2): What are the important elements? Why do you believe those are the most important? Space and Line. Space is more important because the words going together with the card and stars that help with them being 3-D
6. Describe the important principles (red-titled posters hanging in the art room) used in your design (at least 2): What are the important principles? Why do you believe those are the most important? Balance and Emphasis. I put more emphasis on the cards and stars because they are going to stick out more being 3-D
7. Metacognate (think about your thinking!!!): What did you learn from this project that you could apply to other projects in the future? What lessons could be applied to life in general? Why? I STILL HATE PAINTING!!!! I NEED TO STOP!!! BUT I LOVE CANVOS SO IM STUCK INBETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARDPLACE. I do like doing 3-D art work though.
